Midbust Corset Pattern -Tesa-

Midbust corset Tesa front

Midbust corset pattern -Tesa- is a completely free digital pattern for you to play with and explore corsetmaking.
It is a model with 6 pattern pieces per side and an optional suspendable modesty panel.
When I was creating this patterns, my idea was to make a long corset pattern that has a lot of room for adjustments and playing with the shaping of the bottom edge.

You can make as many corsets as you like by using this pattern, and sell them, if you wish to do so.

Standard size range is 16“ – 47“ / 40,00cm – 117,50cm, based on the finished corset waist size.
Bust : 25.75″ – 56.26″ / 65,40cm – 142,90cm
Underbust : 22.91″ – 53.43″ / 58,20cm – 135,70cm
High Hip : 26.46″ – 56.97″ / 67,20cm – 144,70cm
Low Hip : 30.16″ – 60.67″ / 76,6cm – 154,10cm

Lengths are the same for all sizes with 12.32“ / 31,30cm for center front and 15.16“ / 38,50cm fro center back.
Also, all circumference heights are clearly marked on all pattern pieces making it easier for you to adjust & customize the pattern.

Along side 2 PDF files, containing all the corset pattern pieces for all sizes, is also an excel size chart with detailed circumference measurements in both metric and imperial values.

There are no seam allowances added nor is there a lacing gap drafted in and the pattern does not include any sewing instructions (That might change in the future.).

As always, it is highly recommended to make a sloper, mock up or a toile before using “good” fabric.
Word of caution, side seam is fairly tricky to sew.
I wish you the best of luck in tacking this midbust corset project!
